Infrastructure Visit "MRT Jakarta Project"

On March 16, 2017, Garuda Infrastructure held its first Infrastructure Visit at the MRT Jakarta project. The project is among Indonesia's first mass rail transit systems to combine an elevated line with an underground network. Participants toured the underground tunnel section of MRT Jakarta Phase I. They observed the tunneling process using a Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM). The visit included a technical discussion with the project team. Topics covered construction methodology, geotechnical challenges at the site, and the development stages of the elevated line within a dense urban environment.

Infrastructure Training on "Soil Mechanics and Laboratory Testing for Geotechnical Engineering Practices"

From July 9 to 11, 2018, Garuda Infrastructure held its 2nd Infrastructure Training on Soil Mechanics and Laboratory Testing for Geotechnical Engineering Practices. The three-day program took place at the Soil Mechanics Laboratory, Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung. It was organized in partnership with Gerlink Utama Mandiri, bringing together academic expertise and industry practice under one roof. The training marked the second batch of a series designed to strengthen geotechnical competency among Indonesian engineers and students. Across the three days, participants worked through five core subjects, beginning with an introduction to soil mechanics and testing before moving into the fundamentals of embankment and ground improvement design, and slope stability, excavation, and retaining wall analysis. The curriculum also covered foundation design and analysis, together with hands-on practice in soil laboratory testing, so that each subject combined classroom discussion with direct application and allowed participants to connect design theory with real testing procedures.

Infrastructure Visit "BIJB Kertajati"

1 day trip to Bandar Udara Internasional Jawa Barat, Kertjati, Majalengka, Jawa Barat. Pak Hidayat (Engineering Manager PT. BIJB) delivered short presentation of BIJB project summary and then all participants took site visit.

Garuda Infrastructure hosted an insightful strategic talk titled "Infrastructure Operational Readiness During Natural Disaster" . Supported by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR), the Indonesian Society for Geotechnical Engineering (HATTI), and the Indonesian Association of Geologists (IAGI), this event addressed critical measures for ensuring national infrastructure resilience and continuity during natural disaster emergencies. The event brought together key policymakers, geological disaster experts, geotechnical engineering leaders, and emergency response authorities to discuss risk mitigation, geotechnical solutions, and emergency response protocols for critical infrastructure.
